Since I left

I broke my own boundaries

Crossed my own damn lines

So there was nothing left

Just let men do whatever they want to me

Let one cover me in every color of the rainbow

All that just because I deserved every bit of licking

Spanking

Slap in the face

Bite on my neck

Spit in my mouth

Hand gripped tightly around my neck, I can’t inhale

Punishment to its extreme

All that for leaving you

Making sure to ruin myself

So you’d for sure not ever question missing me again

Ever need a reminder on why it was good I left

Just look at me wasting away now

Knowing I don’t feed myself

Knowing I cry every night

Knowing I grow cold and distant

Knowing how we were

How I made us

So sickening

To make your lover your father

And to make your lover your child

Fuck.

Writing poems since before I knew what poetry meant. Maybe, that's why I never kept a single one. Not until my heart broke open did I start keeping my words.
