I think her best writing ever. Like, my story fell straight from her luscious lips. I listen to her music enough to know her artistry is unmatched. Her poetry book, Violet Bent Backwards Over Grass, was incredible. True art. Her Skims ad was insane. Oh, to be her Valentine.
But back to this literary piece of work she wrote. She spoke with her voice the words that shook me to my core and an awareness struck over me… I wasn’t alone.
Before I transcribe the above below, can I just say:
Wow.
Hands down, one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read and heard. I am so grateful to have been alive when this music video came out to experience such profoundness. The song itself, is so good, too.
